Jacob (Fretts) Fritz was born Bef ORE 1765 at
Pennsylvania or New York, USA. He Have seen Jacob associated with the family of Christian Fritz/Fretts, in Pennsylvania. Unsure if our Jacob is the same one.

-First wife was Elizabeth Spurr of Round Hill, married 15-Nov-1787 in Annapolis Royal, NS.
-2nd wife was Ann Nancy Bent, married 05-Feb-1789.
-Settled in Granville, and is included in a list of those 'desirous of confirmation' in 1791at St. Luke's Church, Annapolis Royal, NS.
-he later settled on the Armstrong Road on Hanley Mountain, and finally moved to Port George.
-In 1792 he was listed as 'ratable' in the Parish of Wilmot.
-On 15-June 1796 he purchased property from Samuel Randall signing himself as 'Jacob Fretts of Wilmot'
-on 1 August 1800 he sold property to Richard Jaques and signed himself 'Jacob Fritz'
-on 22 June 1807 he was listed among the farmers of Wilmot who claimed the bounty created by the Act 46, Geo.III, for clearing and seeding lands, and was stated to have cleared 7 1/4 acres
-in a deed drawn 14 November 1808, his wife is mentioned as 'Anna his wife'
-in the baptismal records of St. Luke's they are referred to as 'Jacob and Ann Fretts'
-claimed to be a cart driver for the British in the Revolutionary War.

'Fritz, Jacob. Pennsylvania Loyalist; near Port George 1783 (390:163)'
The following from the historic accounts of Port George, Annapolis:
'Two Fritz brothers came from England to Saint John on a vessel. One remained in Saint John and the other Jacob came across the Bay of Fundy in an open boat and landed on the Port George shore in 1783. Children of the brothers went to Boston and they and several descendants are buried in the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Arlington, Mass.'
Unsure which Jacob the following transcription represents, as no date noted in document, POSSIBLY 1793, based on other listings in same reference:
