Niels Reinert Nielsen Nearly all the ancestry of Niels is from inputs and hard work of Richard Peterson. Richard is a distant relation to this line.
That said, since there aren't currently (Dec-2004) many notes on Niels, I'm using his 'space' to list a number of historical notes on Norway:
Norwegian 'Grandparent' order:
Grandfather = Bestefar or farfar
Great Grandfather = Oldefar
Great Great Grandfather = Tippoldefar
Great Great Great Grandfather = Tipp Tippoldefar (etc)
So, if one were a Tipp Tipp Tipp Tippoldefar, one would be a GGGGG Grandfather!

Vestfold (Jarlsberg og Larvik) and
Vest-Agder (Lister og Mandal) is likely a better way to list the placenames for
