Pop-up Pedigree

Phillip Hanselpacker was the son of Mr. Henselbekker. Phillip Hanselpacker was naturalized; Loyalist. He Phillip settled in St. John New Brunswick, Canada after the Revolutionary War Some of his possible offspring follow: Catharine-marr. David Fulton in 1832, Sheffield, Sunbury, NB., Charlotte-Marr John Smith 24-Sep-1835 in same. Jane marr James McDonald 16-Mar-1826, same, Mary marr.Daniel Sparks 10 Aug 1826, same. Am listing John as a son, although not positive where he settled, but has three dau's that bear possible names for him to be father of above.

There is also mention of Longreach, NB, in the History of Digby, as the place where Philip Hanselpecker may have settled. I also have reason to believe that Philip had a son or grandson, named Peter, as is illustrated in the following excerpt. In Grant No. 684, at the Land Resources Office at Fredricton, NB, there is the following: On 30 October 1813, Eli Hume and 4 sons, and 4 others, were Granted land at Maugerville, near Fredricton. Among the four others was Peter Hanselpecker. This Grant can be found at the Public Archives of New Brunswick. He was described as one of the 'sons of Loyalists', so thinking he was either Philip's or John's son, hard to pin down. (Information from Keith Hume, Bexley Heath, Kent, England, e-mail: k.hume@ukonline.co.uk). Reference: NJV/Lutheran Records. He married Margretha ? circa 1770. Phillip Hanselpacker married Catherine (?) in 1789 at New Brunswick, Canada. Phillip Hanselpacker died in 1819 at Sheffield Parish, New Brunswick, Canada.
