Mrs. Alex died May 13.

Born in Bakersville, Calif., she grew up in California, where she attended school.

She married Clarence Alex in 1953 in Davenport, and the couple made their home in the Fruitland area.

Mrs. Alex was a homemaker. She was a member of the Enterprise Ladies Club and Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include her husband; four children, Charles Alex of Springdale, Wash., Patrick Alex of Fruitland, Dorothy Alex of Spokane and William Alex of Tangent, Ore; two brothers, Joe Pope of Arizona and Steve Pope of Arkansas; eight grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. She was born at Bakersfield, California, USA. Her married name was Alex. She married Clarence A. Alex, son of Clarence William Alex and Maude M. UNKNOWN, in 1953 at Davenport, Washington, USA. Peggy J. Pope died on 13 May 2004 at Fruitland, Washington, USA.
