Granted 200 acres at Maquapit Lake, Sunbury County - 07-Jun-1786 (Vol I, Grant #49). Another grant to John Ferris was 212 acres in Queensbury Parish, York County, - 14-Jan-1788 (Vol. B, page 185, Grant #126).
Children listed as those of John and Mary in christening records of Gagetown Anglican Church are as follows:
George, Margaret, William, Agnes, Catherine, Joseph, Mary, and Rebecca. Some records also indicate that a Deborah Ferris was christened there, dau. of John and Mary, on 8-Mar-1806.
SPECIAL NOTE: Will DATED 30-May-1833, and probated 15-Jul-1833. This indicates John died sometime BETWEEN those dates, or, so I would think!
To make things MORE confusing, between John and George's children, the following is taken FROM his will:
"wife Mary, sons Joseph and William Ferris, son George Ferris, son John Ferris, dau. Margaret Perkins, dau Catherine McLean, dau Sally Elsworth.
