[789] May get confused with Charles Hanselpecker, who may also have been of the same area of Canada, but, in 1864, was in Maine, USA and enlisted in the US Army (Civil War - Union). Unless, of course, he was 12-13 years old at the time (which is not IMPOSSIBLE). Besides, he's most likely the "C. Hanselpecker" who witnessed Ada's wedding in 1882 (Though, I suppose that's long enough after the war... *sigh*). Even the last possibility is made near impossible if the date of death of 1875 is correct.

Married Rebecca at her father's house, by Reb. Benjamin Shaw. Previously had 1930 as year of death but believe that was L. Allison's and not LeBaron's as his willl was probated in 1906, in Cambridge Parish. His son, Wilbur, is listed under both Rebecca and a possibly 2nd wife, Agnes Farris. It's interesting to note, that, under Rebecca, Wilbur's middle name is Springer, but, on the record with Agnes, no middle name was listed. I'm suspecting that Agnes was a wife, SHORTLY after Rebecca's passing (or divorce??), and due to the proximity of dates, elsewhere, the "powers-that-be" saw fit to assign Agnes as Wilbur's mother (this is JUST a theory).
Resided at Mill Cove, Queens County, New Brunswick, Canada in 1896.
Have yet another source, indicating he married a Annie Priscilla ? who is buried in the United Church Cemetery, Lower Jemseg, New Brunswick, Canada.
Birthdate taken from 1901 Census of Cambridge/Sunbury.
According to Ralph E. Stevens, there were two Lebarons. One, b. 1853, husband of Rebecca, was not listed as son of Philip and Mary, the other ,b. 1854, d. 1930, son of Philip and Mary, not listed as Rebecca's husband. This theory/approach just doesn't seem to 'hold water' as it were.

[458] This Margaret is most unlikely the daughter of Phillip Henselbekker and Margretha, b. "AFT 1776". Using Census records, Margaret, dau. of John and Julia, who married Jacob Dykeman, was born in late 1802 or VERY early 1803, as she was christened in January of that year.
[1371] Torrey's New England Marriages Prior to 1700, shows Mary marrying, again, in 1651 to Owen Tudor of Harftord, Connecticut.
