[1310] The Fanjoy family were shipbuilders in St John, New Brunswick, before coming to Queens County. William does NOT appear with Jane in the 1861 Waterborough Parish Census. Not sure if he died by then, or was just not present for the Census.

Served wiht the Women's Auxilliary, RAF, in WWII. In 1950, she emigrated to Canada, settling in Digby, Nova Scotia (details from obituary sent by Larry Baxter). For several years, she was owner/operator of Perry's Canteen in Marshalltown, retiring in 1980.

Sydney had a "...sister, Nancy Goodwin, Digby; brother Gwilym "Bill" (Jean) Griffiths, Dartmouth;
grandchildren, Malcolm and Andrew Tynan, Ottawa; Jennifer Handspiker, London, England; Jessica Perry, Berwick; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Perry; brother, Harry Griffiths; sister, Sally Harris. No visitation by request. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m.Thursday, July 31, in Jayne's Funeral Home, 7 Birch St., Digby, Rev. Jane
Clattenburg officiating. Interment will be in Forest Hill Anglican Cemetery, Digby."

Due to those records, have added Charles to that "location" in my database, though I have my suspicions about the subsequent generations.
