Though there are other Peters, this one is surely self-contained. I know only of two in this era, one was Peter Hanselpacker (1774-1851), son of Philip H. and the other was Peter (1787-1870) who married Ferebee Fanning, and was most likely son of Conrad Handlespiker. Given the dates on THIS Peter, I'd venture closer to husband of Ferebee, but more likely just another Peter. Could he have been son of William?
Digby Paper - April 14, 1893---At broad Cove, on the 7th. inst. , Peter Handspiker in the 94th. year of his age.
What's interesting to note is that the "D.T." (Daily Times?) of New Brunswick also published this information. Very FEW "Handspiker" references in the "Vital Statistics from New Brunswick Newspapers" are found. Causing one to wonder if this Peter had some unique connection with the Hanselpacker cousins?
[1682] Record on William and daughter, Annie, from LDS' IGI.
