Listed as b. 1849 in the H'packer/Slipp family genealogy. Year of will being probated listed as 1886.
Sister "Zipporah" A. Hanselpacker and A. C. Belyea were witnesses at marriage to "Seraphine". Which was performed by the Rev. A. B. MacDonald.
Likely THIS Philip's will which was probated in 1886 in Cambridge Parish.
His death was reported in the Sun and the NBR, as follows:
"White Cove (Queens County) - A gloom has spread over the community by the sudden death of Philip Hanselpacker, on of our prominent residents. He left his home Monday, 16th ult. for St. John where he had some business to transact. After arriving in the city he was taken violently ill and died in the hospital 25th ult. His remains were brought home and interred in the Methodist burying ground at White's Cove. Mr. Hanselpacker leaves a widow and three little children. (reported 5-Mar-1885 in the Sun). The other paper indicates he died of typhoid pneumonia.

Service Record: Enlisted as a Corporal on 10 July 1861 at the age of 41
Enlisted in Company G, 17th Infantry Regiment Massachusetts on 22 July 1861.
Received a disability discharge Company G, 17th Infantry Regiment Massachusetts on 15 January 1863 (NOTE: Enlisted and discharged with the rank of Sergeant)
Widow on pension records listed as Agnes. Not sure if 2nd wife, or, if another name for Nancy ?
Pension record indicates "Invalid" payments starting April of 1863.
It also indicates payments to his widow, Agnes, in October of 1916, so he must have died by then.
Not sure if that is when widow's payments started or when they ended.
