MAY be the James Springer listed as being buried on 15-Mar-1855 at Jemseg, aged 64, putting birthyear within good range. This also makes sense with 1861 Census, where Rachel is widow, living with son, James and HIS wife, Rachel. Would really like to see his grave for myself, as I have several conflicting "reports" of what that marker does say.
James and William were loyalists of Swedish "extraction," who migrated from the State of Delaware, after the American Revolution. James married Rachel and lived in the valley of the property shared with William, while William lived on the hill.
Following is how the children of James/Rachel are listed by Ralph E. Stevens:
Hannah SPRINGER b: 1818 in Cambridge Parish, Queens Co., New Brunswick, Canada
Deborah Titus SPRINGER b: 1820 in Cambridge Parish, Queens Co., New Brunswick, Canada
Johnson Yeomans SPRINGER b: 1820 in Cambridge Parish, Queens Co., New Brunswick, Canada
Martha Elizabeth SPRINGER b: 1822 in Cambridge Parish, Queens Co., New Brunswick, Canada
Mary Ann SPRINGER b: 1824 in Cambridge Parish, Queens Co., New Brunswick, Canada
Charity SPRINGER b: 1827 in Cambridge Parish, Queens Co., New Brunswick, Canada
Rachel SPRINGER b: 1829 in Queens Co., New Brunswick, Canada
James William SPRINGER b: 1833 in Cambridge Parish, Queens Co., New Brunswick, Canada
