[1578] Suspect this Charlotte may have died prior to 1832, as there is indication in Craig Sales' records that another Charlotte was born that year to the same parents. Unless, of course, the same Charlotte born in 1812, had an adult baptism in 1832.... needs clarification.

Garnet and Laura had no children. Note date from obit index of 23-Sep-1998 for both Laura Marie and Garnet Stailing. Either they died within a week of one another, or one was NOT the deceased in the obit, as all other listings were for deceased.

the home. Born in Hubbards, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Annie (Muise) Williams.
Surviving are sister, Edna Bourque, Saulnierville, Digby Co.; several nieces and nephews. She
was predeceased by her sisters, Laura Handspicker, Celeste LeBlanc, Obeline Marriott, Irene
Williams, Helen Williams, Edith Williams, Bertha Baker, Marie Williams; brothers, Howard,
Howard, Eddie and James.

HANDSPIKER, LAURA MARIE--age 88, Comeauville, Digby county died September 21 in Yarmouth Regional Health Centre. Born in Hectanooga, Digby County, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Annie [Muise] Williams. she lived in Digby for 50 years and worked for Digby Pines Golf and Country Club. She also worked in Banff, alberta. Surviving are sisters, Edna Bourque, Saulnierville; Eva [Mrs. Clark Nauss] New Germany; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Garnet; brothers, Howard in infancy, Howard, James, Edward; sisters Edith, Irene, Obeline, Bertha, Celeste, Helen, Marie. Visitation 2-5; 7-9 today in Jayne's Funeral Home, Birch Street, Digby. Funeral at 10am Thursday in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, Digby, Rev, Craig Christen officiating. Burial in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Digby. Family flowers only, donations to the Arthritis Society.
