[1516] Seen also as "Alma", "Elna" and "Elinea". Though one researcher believes that Elinea is the full name and Elna a "nick" for that name, I have found only 7 Elineas listed in a worldwide database, whereas Elna is a very common Swedish given name, with over 6,000 entries. Given the geographical distribution of immigrant Swedes, and given the number of times the name appears as Elna in the directories, vice Elinea, I feel 90 percent sure the name is/was Elna.
