Also seen as Eric Ray. Notes from Grace Noad - "Eric Roy and five of his brothers were in the Service during WWII, some in Canada and some in the US. Eric was stationed in the London area for a time and liked the country around there so settled there after the War. At that time the veteran's Affairs was helping veterans but they had to buy four acres. Eric's piece of land was on Catherine St in Dorchester and ran back to the Thames River. he built a cottage there for his family. later when they were
allowed to sell some of it he sold an acre to Glen for his house. When Eric died son Ray (Raymond) and his wife Anne moved in with Zelda and remain there."
Prior to receiving copy of "Eric's" birth certificate from Grace Noad, had birthday listed as 22 May. B.Cert says 28th. The certificate was requested in 1946, the date of registration was 18-Jun-1922, in Dundas area. Have also seen date of birth listed as 21 May (see Grace Noad).
