The following obituary for Steven was passed on to me by Larry Baxter.
"MOORE, Steven Alan - 40, Digby, passed away March 20, 2003, as a result of a diving accident in the Bay of Fundy. Born in Halifax, he was the son of Bernard and Faye Deveau, North Range and Murray Moore, Ontario. He was a diver both commercial and recreational. He enjoyed playing
darts and hunting and fishing. He is survived by his estranged wife, Karen; children, Shawn Allen Moore, Halifax; Cassandra Lynn Moore and Kristian Mary Moore, both of Digby; stepson, Eric Randall Amon, Digby; sisters, Angela (James) Handspiker, Digby; Michelle Moore, North Range;
nieces, Jennifer Handspiker and Rachel Handspiker, both of Halifax; Megan Doucette, North Range. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, George and Verna Moore; maternal grandmother, Florence Haight. Funeral service 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29, in Jayne's Funeral
Home, 7 Birch St., Digby, Father Keith Billard officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice."
