May not be daughter of right Hiram, and/or Tirza. (see notes on Hiram). Nellis IS the most likely of these children to be born to Tirza, IF Hiram is same as MARRIED Tirza.

Depending on source, Clara died shortly after "Sumner" was born, or not. Some list her as mother of the later children, as well. I will leave all the children under Clara, but believe at least Hannah and Jennie were likely born to Eleanor. According to Census records, one would have to presume Eleanor was first wife and Clara, second, and what a mess this is turning out to be.
Albert appears in 1860 US Census for Merrimack, NH:
aged 27, a farmer, married to "Elener" M., age 29
children: Mary M., age 3 and James A., age one month.
By 1870, family looks like:
Albert, age 37
"Ellen" M., age 39
James A, 10
Hattie ?G?, 6
Arthur ?H? 4
1900 US Census offers some interesting possibilties, as we now see Clara as his wife, with no children of "first marriage".

[975] This is NOT Ronald W. VanTassel, son of Guy. Ronald VT is more likely the same generations as Guy VanTassel, Ronald W.'s father.
