[68] MAY be a "Junior" but no middle initial known for father, so calling father "Sr." merely to differentiate.Though no children listed, in the 1838 Digby Census, this William is listed as having: 1 female child under six, 1 male above 14 (beside himself) and 2 females above 14 (one can assume ONE of those to be Elizabeth. That in mind, given he was 30 years of age, he may have had a child with Elizabeth (the girl under 6) and the older male and female could have been a brother and his wife, or, servants??? Hard to say with the lack of detail in the 1838 Census.
[1691]
Fanny "Hanspiker" listed in the Kentucky Census of 1870, as living in Shelbyville (District 1), Shelby County, Kentucky. on page 363. Fanny was 18 in 1870, a servant, and listed as born in Kentucky. She is listed as white, so doubtfully connected to the Georgia Hanspikers.
There is also Hadne of Kentucky... listed in Henry Co., KY in 1850 Census, age
14, b. KY in the household of Mary Adams, age 30, and her husband S.?
Suspect "Hadne" and Sarah, below, to possibly be brother and sister. Fanny, no
listing of age,
A Sarah Jane Hanspiker married Jesse Smith on 14-Nov-1853 at Ohio, Kentucky.
A Fanny Hanspiker appears in 1870 US Census for Shelbyville, Shelby Co., KY,
age 18, domestic servant, female, white, b. KY.
Puts Fanny's birth @1852, Hadne @1836, Sarah's prob. @ 1830-35.
Potential exists that Fanny was ?Hadne's? daughter??
