Though she doesn't appear on 1901 Census, Sadie DOES appear in 1891 Census of Digby, aged 7, with only other siblings being "Maggie" age 4 and Frank, age 1.
Effie and Sadie were twin sisters. Interesting they married the same man! Curious.

Have SERIOUS doubts about Ruth V.T. being the right individual for this position.. believe more likely Ruth Clifford, though earlier research indicated mother of children to be V.T.
Gravemarker states surname was Clifford, possibly by birth, may have married a VanTassel, prior to marrying Ross? Dates are identical. Was she dau. of Jacob VT or possibly Byron Clifford? Much to figure out! This is how her record for burial looks: "Ruth Clifford Sept. 30, 1889 59 years old Wife of Ross .C. C. Handspiker".
Digby Obituary: Oct. 11, 1889---At Tiverton, on the 30th. of Sept. after two years suffering with cancer, Ruth , beloved wife of Ross C. Handspiker in the 59th year of her age. [The deceased was baptized in 1868 by Rev. Isiah Wallace and was a member of the Tiverton Baptist Church and died trusting in the Lord.]
