NOTE: This is Jeremiah JUDSON, not Jeremiah Ellis. With the earlier confusion between which David begat which Jeremiah, it is clear that David William, who married Henrietta Adams, had Jeremiah 'Judson' Handspiker (often seen as just Judson), and that David James and his first wife, Rebecca Ham(m) were the parents of Jeremiah Ellis Handspi(c)ker. He was naturalized; Captain. He was born between 17 October 1842 and 1843 at
Culloden, Digby County, Nova Scotia, Canada. He was the son of
John Simeon Hanselpiker and
Rachel Vantassel. David William Handspiker married
Henrietta Adams, daughter of
Robert Adams and
Harriet Augusta Campbell, on 10 December 1864. David William Handspiker died on 7 November 1917 at
