Stephen's obituary reads as follows:
Stephen Szabo, 71, of 69 Fort Point Street, died this morning at Norwalk, Hospital after a short illness. He was employed for many years at the E. H. Hotchkiss Co. He was a member of the Evangelical and Reformed Church., Hunyadi and Rakocz Societies.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Susan Nagy Szabo; two dauthers, Mrs. Regina Kish and Mrs. Carl Gustafson, both of Norwalk; two sons, William Bayliss of Norwalk and Stephen Szabo, Jr. of Fairfield, and one brother, Andrew Szabo of Norwalk; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.'
