ROSS, Edward Vernon "Ed" - 86, Hebron, Yarmouth Co., died Saturday, June 22, 2002, at home. Born in Culloden, he was a son of the late Leaander and Dora Mae (Handspiker) Ross. He worked at the Yarmouth Ice cream Dairy as an engineer for 17 years and worked at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Surviving are daughter, Olivia Ross, Halifax; son, Edward, Ontario; sisters, Barbara VanTassell, Aldyth Kaye, both of Digby; Doris Tufts, Clyde River; a granddaughter. He was
predeceased by his wife, Connie R.; brothers, James, John, Frank, Robert. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service and burial will take place at a later date. Donations to VON Yarmouth or Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny's Funeral Home, Yarmouth.
