ANNIE PRISCILLA BATES, LEVERETT A. HANSELPACKER, 7 October 1922, CAMBRIDGE, QU, F19681 #1985
1881 Canada Census for Cambridge, Queens, New Brunswick, lists following, for family:
William BATES M Male Scottish 55 Prince Edward Island Farmer Presbyterian
Priscela BATES M Female Scottish 36 New Brunswick Presbyterian
Maggie BATES Female Scottish 2 New Brunswick Presbyterian
Annie BATES Female Scottish <1 Born: Jul; 9/12 New Brunswick Presbyterian
Margaret PORTER1 W Female Scottish 82 New Brunswick Baptist
Believe Margaret Porter, based on McAlpine records, is the Margeret McAlpine who married John Porter. Ths would make Margeret, Priscilla McAlpine's sister. Which would make her Annie's great aunt, and Priscilla (VanWart) Bates' aunt.

Surnames: HANDSPIKER

The sudden death from pneumonia occured at Culloden on the 5th. inst. of Irving Arnold HANDSPIKER at the age of 1 year and 20 days. , son of Mr. and Mrs Wallace HANDSPIKER . Father, mother , two brothers, four sisters , two grandchildren and other relatives are left to mourn the loss of one that won their hearts by his bright and winning ways. Interment took place on Thursday at Culloden . Rev. Mr. Wilson officiating.
It is my guess that Owen may not have lived until 1921. The (daughter) must have still been living, when Irving died, as it lists 2 brothers and 4 sisters. I can not imagine who the "grandchildren" are, or whose.
