Father MAY be the James G. Vail who appears in the Manners-Sutton Parish Census of 1881, as 14 years of age (makes estimated birth year 1867), son of Aselath R. Vail age 44 (no wife on census). Siblings are: Frank H. (23), Charles W. (21), John C? (20), Annie L. (19), Chipman F. (17), Daily J. (16 - Fem.), Myra C. (11), Solomon (10). There is also a Samuel Brockway, aged 12, living with the family.
James' (Jr.'s?) location in the Brockway Cemetery: Section:0 Row:0 Number:305.
Originally had James' birth year as 1903, but have seen listed as 1906, which makes more sense, given date of parents' marriage.
