Possibly the William who married Lucinda and had William Handspiker christened on 13-Jun-1873 at St. Jacobs Stone Church (Lutheran Reformed) in Brodbecks, York County, Pennsylvannia. Though, it's also interesting to note his brother being David William??? This William may also have been, at some point, an erroneous inclusion in this family. Further research is surely necessary.
Should treat this individual as only a POSSIBLE inclusion in the family of John Handspiker and Rachel VanTassel.
Could ALSO be the "W.D. Handspiker" whose wife was honored in Dec-1924 with an 86th birthday party. Published 19 Dec 1924 in Digby Courier, said the event took place "Monday last". Didn't indicate what the W.D. stood for, however. So, just ANOTHER long-shot!
