Widow of Ernest Helgeson. The four Helen, Ernest, Louise (Donley) and Meredith (Handspiker), used to play pinnochle on a weekly basis. As the story went, the last to "go" was to bring the deck with him/her. When Helen passed on in 1995, my brother Nathan (Handspicker), ensured the deck accompanied Helen to that great "Pinnochle Table In The Sky."
Helen passed away at a home in Wellesley, Massachusetts (I believe - though it may have been near the border of the town).
[861] Thorburn Cemetery.
