He is survived by his daughters, Brenda (Wayne) HILLIER, Dartmouth; Pauline (Howard) CARPENTER, North Range; son, Gerald Jr. (Carol), Florida; sisters, Lorna VANTASSELL, Digby; Muriel FOGG, Massachusetts; grandchildren, Julie, Scott, Paulette, Allison, and Michelle; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Phoebe (MYLES); brothers, Herbert, Arnold, Arden, Eugene; sisters, Louise, Gwen, Villa.
