NORTH ANDOVER -- Willis A. 'Albert' Corson, 80, died Wednesday at
Lawrence General Hospital.
Born in New Durham, N.H., Mr. Corson was a self-employed carpenter and
woodworker. He founded and was president of WILCO Security Co., retiring
in 1978.
Mr. Corson served in the Army during World War II in the 367th Combat
Engineers unit. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Silver Star,
attaining the rank of staff sergeant. After the Korean War he joined the
New Hampshire National Guard 157th Signal Construction Company, retiring
from service in 1960.
He was a member of New England Bible Church in Andover and Iglesia
Bautista Biblica in Lawrence.
He leaves sons and their wives Willis R. and Keny Judith, Peter I. and
Susan McMahon, and Kevan S. and Patrice, all of Manchester, N.H;
brother Lawrence of New Durham; and three granddaughters.
There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be Thursday at 7
p.m. in New England Bible Church, with burial in Riverside Cemetery,
Alton, N.H. Arrangements are by Plonowski Funeral Home, Lawrence.
