COULD be merely coincidence, but suspect Lemuel to be POSSIBLY the brother of Maria. The age listed for Maria does NOT coincide, at least with the transcription of the 1881 Census. One is right, the other wrong, no doubt. This may help clarify some of the children, though.

Prime, daughter of Benjamin Prime , Sr. and Mary Ann Hersey, between 1862 and 1864 at Freeport or Long Island, Digby County, Nova Scotia. Hard to imagine a man arriving in the colonies around 1765 (probably no YOUNGER than his late teens, then) would be having children through the 1830's.

FYI, John Balsour Israel, s/o Balsor, christened 13-Aug-1795 at Trinity Parish, Digby. She was born in 1833. She was the daughter of Balsor (Balthazar) Israel and Sarah ?. Eliza Israel married Cunningham Lamb Lent, son of Shippy Spurr Lent and Hannah Cook, on 28 November 1852. Eliza Israel married Cormack McDormand, son of Thomas McDormand and Elizabeth ?, on 19 October 1876. Eliza Israel died on 9 January 1884.

Shippy Lent , Jr. married Euphemia Augusta Moore, daughter of William Moore and Mary ?, on 3 December 1857 at Weymouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. Shippy Lent , Jr. died in March 1876 at Moreville, Michigan, USA, at age 37.
