NOTE: No clue on Chipman and Emma (nephew of Benjamin?). Seems the children listed below that couple are more likely children OF that couple. Rest are most probably children of Benjamin and Maria. Chipman was listed in 1871 Census for Long Island, Digby, NS, as 21, w/ wife 'Emmer' - 19, and daughter 'Edner' - 1yr. Chipman had two more children listed in 1891, Garfield (b. @1882) and Charles (b. @1884).

COULD be merely coincidence, but suspect Lemuel to be POSSIBLY the brother of Maria. The age listed for Maria does NOT coincide, at least with the transcription of the 1881 Census. One is right, the other wrong, no doubt. This may help clarify some of the children, though.
Lent Book indicates a 2nd wife of Nancy Brooks, with NO MENTION of Maria Prime. He married
