Ebenezer Bancroft Williams Listed aged 52 years at time of death in Wellesley. His death was by 'suicide by drowning'. He was a master mechanic, apparently from ?Popham Beach? in Maine.
Apparently, this or ANOTHER Ebenezer Bancroft Williams married an Isabel Nutting, b. @1847, ME. In 1870, she was in Minnesota, in New Hartford, Winona County. She MIGHT have been an earlier wife than Mary E. Thompson? Isabel was d/o Zachariah W. Nutting and Sebiah UNK. A son of E. B. and Isabel was Willis La Forrest Williams, b. 31-Oct-1869, Boston, MA. Who, apparently, moved with AT LEAST his mother, Isabel, out to Minnesota in 1870, where he died on 31-Oct-1954 at St. Paul, Ramsey Co, MN. Willis was married to Rose D. Rouleau on 28-Mar-1894 at St. Paul, MN. They had a son, Charles Rouleau Williams, b. 12-May-1903, MN, d. 01-Jul-1981, Minneapolis, Hennepin Co, MN. Also a couple of daughters b. MN - Berenice, Apr-1896, and Louisa, Jul-1899. However much all this COULD fit, I've YET to find Isabel anywhere... Found Willis in 1900 Census, but not before.
Surely, on his 1871 Marriage Record to Mary Thompson, it's listed as his 2nd and her 1st, so this is VERY possible, though I could find no record for his marriage to Isabel Nutting. He was born circa 1845 at
