Obviously, based on POB of parents, neither is a grandson of Matthias. Also, believe 1900 only census reflecting a switch in dates of birth on Catherine and Bridget.

Her married name was Cannon. She was born in August 1840 at County Galway, Ireland. She married Matthias Cannon, son of Matthias Cannon and Bridgett (Bridget) UNKNOWN, circa 1859 at Vermont, USA.
