Notes: of Fredericton, New Brunswick, at time of marriage to "Maria". Has also been listed as George Colther (anglicized version?). 1881 Canadian Census for Fredericton lists a Julia Hanselpecker, working as a housekeeper in the home of George Coulthar d, aged 66 (NAC C-13181 Dist 30 SubDist B Page 28 Family 131). The listing shows no wife for George, so he may have been a widower, by 1881. If so, it may not be that unusual that a relative came to keep house. Just not sure how Julia migh t be related to Mary/Maria Hanselpacker. She had a sister, Julia, born in 1813, but the one listed in the home of George is listed as aged 32.
Notes: a.k.a. Maria Hanselpacker. Married by Rev. Abraham Wood. Listed as 4th daughter of John in marriage record to George. If such is the case, she was born before Catherine, so 1809-1810? Date : April 5, 1845 County : Saint John Place : Saint John Newspaper : New Brunswick Courier m. Grand Lake (Queens Co.) 25th ult., by Rev. Abraham Wood, George COULTHARD, Fredericton (York Co.) / Maria HANSELPECKER fourth d/o John HANSELPECKER of former place.
