Notes: 1885 on gravestone. However, Mar-1892 is SAME dob as John Gorman in 1901 Census. Wonder if someone goofed? IF so, there's a John Wilson b. 24-Aug-1885, s/o George (b. 1851) and Margaret Wilson (b. 1852) in 1901 Canada Census for St Marys, York Co, NB. Makes FAR more sense that there's an enumeration error. Perhaps both Johns were still in the same ho use, and one's information was put under name of the other? IN FACT, if we EXPAND the 1911 Census enumeration, see the 2nd John Wilson! I think the 1892 version SHOULD have been John Gorman! Since John Wilson and Mary Gorman didn't marry until May, perhaps the enumeration took place so close to the marriage that the fault was not all that far off... Here's the FULL version of that part of the page... 42 118 Gorman William M Head M Jul 1860 50 1901 43 118 Gorman Mary F Wife M Mar 1846 45 1901 44 118 Wilson Mary Ann F Daughter M Dec 1889 21 1901 45 118 Wilson John M Son-in-law M Mar 1892 19 1901 46 118 Gorman Elizabeth F Daughter S Jun 1897 14 1901 47 118 Gorman Earle M Son S Jul 1899 11 1901 48 118 Wilson John M Lodger M Aug 1886 24 1901 49 118 Jones Annie F Lodger S Apr 1900 11 Indeed, I'd feel relatively safe stating that John IS the son of George and Margaret!
