Have not seen any direct connection to ancestors, other than Adam, but BELIEVE he may be descended of the James Dickie, b. @1755, Ireland, married Martha Martin @1790 (probably in NS) and died 25-Dec-1858, likely also in NS. Was in and around are as of Cornwallis and Truro. For certain, related to the Dickie's of Meagher's Grant in Lower Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia.
