DIGBY - Guy Walter Porter, 65, of Digby died Thursday at home. Born in Seabrook, he was a son of the late William and Sarah (Ross) Porter. He is survived by his wife, the former Ruth Haight; a son Baughn, Digby; a daughter Loretta (Mrs. Charles Sh annon), Fredericton; a brother Clarence, Digby; four sisters Katherine (Mrs. Malcolm Purdy) and Theta (Mrs. James MacGill) both of Middleton; Ruby (Mrs. Lorenzo Mailman), Springfield, and Kathleen (Mrs. Robert Layfield), Dartmouth; four grandchild ren. He was predeceased by three brothers. The body is in R. McCleave's Funderal Home, Digby, where service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Rev. H.M. Foster officiating with burial in Baptist Cemetery, Digby. Donations may be made to the Canadian Heart Fun d or any charity.
