MIDDLETON - Carl Howard Porter, 63, of Middleton died Monday (Oct 15, 1979). Born in Seabrook, Digby County, he was the son of the late William and Sarah (Ross) Porter. He operated a retail shoe sales and shoe repair business in Middleton . He is survived by his wife, the former Greeta Forsythe; one son, Mark, Middleton; four sisters, Katherine (Mrs. Malcolm Purdy), Theta (Mrs. James McGill), both of Middleton; Kathleen (Mrs. Robert Layfield), Dartmouth; Ruby (Mrs. Lorenzo Mailman) , Springfield; two brothers, Clarence and Guy of Digby. He was predeceased by two brothers Roy and Fritz. The body is at Warren T. Roop Funeral Home, Middleton, where funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. Rev. David Watt officiating. Bur ial will be in Pine Grove cemetery, Middleton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton.
