Roy Sevant Porter, a well known resident of Sea Brook, died on Tuesday, September 26th, in the Nova Scotia Sanatorium at Kentville, after a long illness. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Porter, and was born in Sea Brook 32 years ago. lef t to mourn are his widow, two sons, Roy, Jr. and Glenn in Hall's Harbor, Kings County: four sisters, Kathryn (Mrs. Malcolm Purdy) Sydney; Kathleen, at home; Theta, in Aylesford; Ruby (Mrs. Lorenzo Mailman), Springfiled, Anna. Col; also four brothe rs, Fritz, Aylesford; Clarency, Guy and Carl, Sea Brook. Funeral service was held from the Billtown Baptish Church with interment in Lakeville.

Roy S. PORTER There passed away at the Nova Scotia Sanatorium, Kentville, on Tuesday, September 26, Roy S. PORTER, son of Mr. and Mrs. William PORTER, Roxville, Digby County, at the age of 32, after an illness of 2 1/2 years. He is survived by hi s widow, the former Alta FRASER, of Hall's Harbour; two small children, Roy and Glen; also by four brothers, Fritz, Aylesford; Clarence and Guy, Seabrook; Carl, at home; by four sisters, Katerine, Mrs. Malcolm PURDY, of Sydney; Ruby, Mrs. Lorenz o MAILMAN, Springfield; Theda, at Aylesford; and Kathleen, at home. The service was conducted by Rev. Vincent RUSHTON, Billtown, assisted by Rev. Freeman FENERTY, Kentville, in the Billtown Baptist church on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30. Music wa s provided by the Billtown Baptist choir and interment was in Lake Cemetery. Howard JESS, Leonard BOYLAN, Rae ROSCUE, and Chester BEZANSON were pallbearers.
