Notes: No doubt it was this Peter who appears on a Land Petitionn in Sunbury County, New Brunswick, Canada in 1810, along with Joseph Lamb, William Brown, George Hume, John Hume, Peter Hume, Enoch Lunt and William Taylor. Similary, it was likely this Pet er who, on 30-Oct-1813 registered 300 acres of land in Sheffield, Sunbury County, New Brunswick, Canada (Grant #684 Volume F, Page 459) Similarly, sources quoting same grant, indicate that land as being at Maugerville, near Fredericton (where Phil lip is known to have been found land, about 23 years earlier).

In one source, he was listed among "sons of loyalists" which indicates he was 2nd generation (or.. 1st Generation in Canada?). Peter has been listed in some sources as the son of John, not Philip, however there is no substantiated evidenc e as to why, yet several good sources to confirm he's the son of Philip.

According to the Ottawa Archives, Peter had six daughters and one son, all of Sheffield, recorded in the Sheffield Town record book.

Peter and Mary were both still living in 1847, when they jointly signed over property rights for the promise of "old age care" (a common practice in their neck of the woods, in that time period) to their son-in-law, William Jordan.

Peter was still living in 1851, with the Jordan family in Sunbury County, New Brunswick, Canada. Listed, however, as a widower. Same Census indicated a year of birth of 1774 and place as "NY".
