Notes: According to Amanda, George may be buried at Coweeset Cemetery in Brockton. George Dunbar WWI registration: registered on 5 Jun 1917, at Brockton, MA. George Curtis Dunbar, age 30, residing 53 Boyden Street, Brockton, MA b. Jan-5-1887, natural born, at Brockton, MA, painter, for ?Lays Bros.? at Brockton, MA. was of medium build, medium complexion with hazel eyes and brown hair. Burial marker at Coweeset Cemetery indicates he was a Bugler for Company I, 14th Infantry M (Mechanized?) SC (South Carolina). At one time, suspected George to be son of Curtis S. Dunbar, who married Ann Tisdale. That Curtis b. 19-Feb-1811 at Cambridge, Mass., Ann, b. 27-May-1813, same. That would make them more likely candidates as grandparents for George, not parents . And, given William was b. Scotland, not a likely possibility.
