Notes: I've no idea if Campbell is also Hattie's maiden name. I've never seen it listed any other way. So, will leave "as is" until reasoning bids I do otherwise.
SPECIAL NOTE: IF "Hattie" was born a Campbell, we KNOW who her father was. In the 1871 Census for Digby area, we find Daniel W. Campbell (age 38) and wife Sarah (age 30), living in Culloden. Among their MANY children is listed a Mehitable, ag e 6, which would fit with this "Hattie". This same Mehitable does NOT appear with parents in 1881.
