Notes: Rumor has it that Clarence and Mabel had 10 children. Some of the children, and possibly Clarence, himself, used the spelling Eisner, and in some sources, the name is spelled "Isnor". In online correspondence, have also heard told that the nam e may have originally been Eisenhauer, but was changed to Eisnor during the War, so as not to sound so German.

She appears in the 1901 Canadia n Census in Digby Town, as a domestic, working for Charlotte VanTassell and her son Frank. Shows her birthyear as 1883, and aged 17 at time of Census (page 14, reel T-6449). Solo picture taken in London, Ontario. Picture of the three women are Lau ra Jane (nee Handspiker) Vantassel, Mary (nee Milbury) Handspiker and Mabel.
