Notes:
Notes: "Betty". Betty was a good friend. Though we never met, in person, we exchanged e-mails and postal mails on a regular basis over about a 4-5 year period. I provided some early Handspiker information, and she provided all the connections of her gr andmother's family "Prentha Augusta". It was Betty who advised me that her grandmother was Augusta, not Prentha. Only to realize, she was both. Born Prentha Augusta Handspiker, likely she wasn't all that pleased with her given name, so used he r middle name as her given (a very common practice, especially with this family). Once we "ironed out" all the idiosyncracies of the line, we finally both agreed (for the most part) on what is now listed on these pages. Betty - - - We miss you and your enthusiasm, your quick wit, and your sweet charm. Rest in Peace with your ancestors... :-)
