MITCHELL, Veronica Anita - 57, Conway, Digby Co., died June 6, 2002, in Digby General Hospital. Born in Digby, she was a daughter of Hetty Titus and the late Fraser Handspiker. She was employed as a PCW for about 25 years at Tideview Terrace, Digb y. She was an avid gardener and was a very loyal Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Surviving are daughters, Kimberly (Mrs. Phillip Morehouse), Cape Breton; Gina (Mrs. Kenny Amero), Mount Pleasant, Digby Co.; sons, Christopher, Digby; Anthony, Halifax; sist er, Luella Urquart, Fredericton, N.B.; brothers, Winston Handspiker, Cape Breton; Brian Handspiker, Lansdowne, Digby Co.; grandchildren, Joshua, Shana, Charmaine, Justin, Codey; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, Fraser . Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Jayne's Funeral Home, Digby. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday in Grace United Church, Digby, Rev. Linda Reid officiating, with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Digby. Donations may be made to Ca nadian Cancer Society.
