Received a disability discharge Company G, 17th Infantry Regiment Massachusetts on 15 January 1863 (NOTE: Enlisted and discharged with the rank of Sergeant) Widow on pension records listed as Agnes. His 2nd wife. Pension record indicates "Invalid" payments starting April of 1863. It also indicates payments to his widow, Agnes, in October of 1916, so he must have died by then. Not sure if that is when widow's payments started or when they ended.
