Notes: HoH in 1911 Canada Census for Great Village, with wife, Mammie, mother-in-law, Ella, and Noble and Lawson, his sons. All family listed as Presbyterian. James was a surveyor - "per mill" by trade, Noble listed in 1911 as labourer in a saw mill. Though James raised his family in Colchester County, the Mattinson and variant names seem to center around Cumberland County, NS, from very early on.
