Ivory Frederick McLean, age 83 years. Survived by his wife Vera
(Brundage) McLean of The Range, his sister Amy (Mrs. Bordon Gaunce) of
Chipman, and several nieces and nephews.
Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home until Monday when funeral service
will be held at 2 p.m. from the Second Grand Lake Baptist Church,
Cumberland Bay, with Rev. Roy Berteaux officiating. Interment in The
Range Cemetery.

Notes from Debbie in 2006 - Ivory & Vera owned and ran one of the general stores in the Range community. It opened in about 1912 and closed in 1970. It was a very old fashioned store with the old metal pop cooler filled with water, cheese they sol d by the slice right off the rounds they came in and bare wooden floors. After Ivory died in 1992, Vera lived in their house for awhile, but eventually went into a senior's home in North Minto. Today, the store is gone and so is the house. Someon e bought the property and divided it into building lots. There are a couple of houses built there now.
