Notes: Have seen this woman listed as Emilie-Marie and Mildred Mae Thibault. My suspicions are twofold. First, that there may have been two wives, and second, that the "Mildred Mae" is merely some odd "anglicizing" of Emilie-Marie. That is my curren t thinking (April 2002). Was known to family as "Aunt Millie" and often went by "Millie May". This is not to say that she never WAS Emilie-Marie. This may have been a christening name. It is said, however, that the girls in the family all ha d middle names of Mary, May or Grace. If such was the case, "Emilie" is easily turned into "Millie". Just a thought.
