WAMBOLDT, AUGUSTUS GARFIELD (GUS)

CLEMENTSVALE - Augustus Garfield (Gus) Wamboldt, 74, of Clementsvale,
Annapolis County, died Friday in Soldier's Memorial Hospital,
Middleton. Born in Clementsvale, he was a son of the late John Albert
and Leota (Trimper) Wamboldt. He served overseas with the West Nova
Scotia Regiment during the Second World War and for 20 years was a
plumber at CFB Cornwallis. He was a member of Clementsport Royal
Canadian Legion, branch #l22 for 42 years and was a member of the
Canadian Order of Forestry. He is survived by his wife, the former
Evangeline Potter; two daughters, Wanetta (Mrs. Steve Haley), South
Rawdon; Violet (Mrs. Alle Harlow), Bear River; four sons, Richard,
Roger, Brian and Larry, all of Clementsvale; two brothers, Mason and
Carl, both of Clementsvale; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Durling, Brid-
getown; Verdon (Mrs. Wilfred Dukeshire) and Mrs. Leta Dunn, both of
Clementsvale; and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by three
brothers, Attlee, Eugene and Clayton; and a sister, Emma Hubley. The
body is in Robert L. Hall Funeral Home; Granville Ferry. Funeral will
be 2 p.m. Monday in Clementsvale Baptist Church, Lic. Cecil Symes
officiating. Burial will be in Clementsvale Cemetery. Donations may be
made to the Clementsport legion's Wheelchair fund or any charity.
