John moved to Malden by time of 1900 Census. In an 1884 Malden Directory, John is listed as Warden of the St. Luke's Mission (Episcopal), Linden, on the corner of Lincoln and Lynn Streets. In 1891 directory, ran a furniture business - Rossborough Symonds, & Worthley (at 727 Washington Stree t in Boston), and resided at 26 Church St. Malden. In 1900, he'd moved to 933 Eastern Avenue. The age is surely within reason. Location... leaves me unable to consider this more tha n a remote possibility. And he would have had to return to England to marry Isabel (not at all unheard of, but decreases the possibility this manifest record is him. More likely, in fact, that it is the John R. found in 1870 US Census for NY, NY , with wife Matilda, and children, John, Robert, and Maggie. 171 John Rosborough 19 M Laborer Ireland US Upper Btw Decks
