Notes: e he died in 1779. This Ephraim married as a widower to Mary London of Greenwich Parish (Kings Co, NB). She was later his executrix in Jan-1833, indicating he likely died in late 1832. His will was written in 1832, and technically "proved" on 24-D ec-1832. In 1830, his youngest son, James, listed as aged 21. In Ephraim's will, he named Mary his "last wife", with one half of his estate going to the children he had with Mary, the other half divided amongst the children from his first two marriages . He named his son Seth as the "only exception", and his daughter Ann (Wheaton) Shaw, as well. Mary London was baptized as an adult at Greenwich in 1819, as were several of her children (and/or Ephraim's) - - - Elizabeth, Hannah, David, and Mary Jane. Hannah married in 1835 to Andrew Shampier (PANB). Likely another son of Ephraim's, Ephraim (Jr?) d. 16-Nov-1890, aged 84, and is buried in St John, NB. Ephraim, by his three wives, is said to have fathered between 15 and 18 children. From 1785-ish to as late as late 18-teens. He was born AROUND 1760, so was at least in his 50s when youngest child was born. Perhaps, William was a late child of Ephraim and Mary, or a grandson by an earlier son? In PANB cemeteries directory, there is a William Wheaton, b. 1855, d. 1926, h/o Margaret, but believe that's pure coincidence, and he is buried in Springfield Anglican Church Cemetery in Kings Co, NB. HIS "Margaret" was b. 1845. d. 1901, and is bu ried next to him. PERHAPS, William is a son of Seth Wheaton (s/o Ephraim who didn't fare all that well in Ephraim's will), as Seth was married in Queens Co (recorded at Gagetown Anglican), to Elizabeth Clarke, on 14-Sep-1815. In 1871 Census for Hampstead Parish, Queens Co, NB is found only one Wheaton: Phoebe A. Wheaton, age 10, residing in home of Elisha Clarke, aged 34, and his family (his mother or aunt listed as Maria Jane, and aged 61, but appears Elisha may not have been married. A "family home", perhaps. IS Seth who married Elizabeth Clarke, same who later married (@1820) to Sarah Sears Ketchum? Would not believe so, only because he appears more in Carleton Co records, and he had son Seth, b. 1836 in Carleton.
Notes: d not this one, b. 1832. Will not list that Margaret until I can be sure of which Ferris/Farris family to which she belongs
