Notes: Not entirely sure I agree with the mother of Sarah being listed as Ann, for the following reason. In Torrey's New England Marriages prior to 1700, the most likely candidate for Sarah's father, William, is the Quaker, who died abt. 1675, who married Dorothy by 1655 (probably 1647 or 1650), at Oyster River, New Hampshire. The confusion surel y builds, when the sources I've seen list William as dying 1742, but having had Sarah in 1655. HARDLY possible! That said, these same sources list William and Dorothy as parents of William who married Ann. That COULD be possible, but would als o mean THAT William (s/o William and Dorothy) was brother of Sarah, not father.
