He had served in Company G of the 2nd Massachusetts Regi ment, Heavy Artillery. He had enlisted at Uxbridge, Massachusetts, on 7-Nov-1863, at age 40, was a Mechanic, at that time. This means it was not Ezra or Ezra Junior, of this family. However, given the name, suspect a close relative, possibl y a cousin of Junior's?
